Mike, or Chewey as he was known to many in his beloved concrete world, loved to spend time at home with his family, go camping, go hunting, and watch NASCAR races on the front porch.  You could find him every weekend and most evenings piddling with something in his garage mowing the grass, or rearranging toolboxes and racks on his truck.  He led a simple life and could fix anything with duct tape and a pair of pliers.  His life was led by his favorite saying, “I’ve done so much with so little for so long I can do anything with nothing.”  He never hesitated to help anyone that asked, even strangers, but sure gave everyone a hard time with his constant bantering.  He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ron Lehenbauer of Christ the King Lutheran Church officiating.  A family and friends gathering will follow at his home 134 Cat Rock Rd. Eldon, MO at 4:30 PM

Memorials in his name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org or the Mike Priest Family Educational Fund, C/O Central Bank of Lake of The Ozarks, PO Box 207, Osage Beach, MO 65065-0207 in his memory.
