Wilma Mae Engelbrecht, 78, of Eugene, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at her home. She was born on January 11, 1945, in Corydon, Iowa; the daughter of the late Lloyd A. and Dorothy (Blaine) Belt. She was united in marriage to Lloyd George Engelbrecht on February 15, 1964.
Wilma was a graduate of Cole R-V Eugene High School. She graduated nursing school and worked as a nurse at Still Hospital then Cole R-V Eugene. She worked many years with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and in the fabric department at Walmart. She retired from the state to take care of her mother at home. During her free time, she spent many hours on the family farm in Eugene.
Wilma was a longtime member of Eugene Christian Church. She spent time decorating the church for different occasions and loved the fellowship of the small community. She enjoyed the beautiful view of her farm and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grand kids watching them play at the farm. She loved to sew, crafts, play cards and travel, she had traveled to 49 states and several countries.
She leaves behind and will be greatly missed by her husband of 59 years Lloyd Engelbrecht; sons, Michael Wayne (Julie) Engelbrecht, Larry Daniel (Vicki) Engelbrecht, and Jonathan Lloyd (Sandra) Engelbrecht; grandchildren, Jesse (Nikki) Engelbrecht, Hannah (Austin) Davenport, Cole Engelbrecht (Katie), Joseph Engelbrecht (Clarissa), Jessica (Russell) Kemple and Sarah Brooks; and great-grandchildren Allyson, Nataleigh, Dilyn, Ashlynn, Payton, Jace, Olivia, Hadley and Elizabeth Mae; brothers Larry Belt (Glenda) and Richard (Sue) Belt and sisters-in-law Sally Belt and Francis Engelbrecht, as well as many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Lloyd Belt, brothers-in-law David, Kenneth, and Curt Engelbrecht, sisters-in-law Janice Belt and Joan Engelbrecht.

Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2023 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM at Eugene Christian Church with a Graveside Service beginning at 12:00 PM at Eugene Cemetery with Alan McNeely & Daryl Struemph officiating.
