William “Mike” Michael Stickley went to be with the Lord on June 23rd, 2021. He was born on October 16, 1953 to William Franklin Stickley and Mary Madeline Scrivner Stickley. He married his best friend, Lorraine Hill Stickley, on February 22, 1974. She survives of the home. Also surviving are their four children, Stephanie Sullins (Stephen), Jennifer Johnson (John), Michael F. Stickley, and Jerry R. Stickley, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Paul Franklin Stickley and Robert Kent Stickley (Jeanette). Preceding him in death are his parents, 6 siblings and his father-in-law, Harold Hill.
Mike proudly served for ten years in the United States Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, he spent many years as a land surveyor. In his spare time, you could find him spending time with his family, fishing, reading western novels, hunting for antiques and arrowheads, and preaching, teaching the Gospel and leading the singing at Saline Valley Church of Christ. He could play many instruments and had the singing voice of an angel! You always knew you were in for a treat when he would get his guitar out and start singing!
He loved his family more than anything. He was a very kind, funny, giving man who never knew an enemy. Everyone loved him and he will be sorely missed.
