William "Bill" Lange Obituary

William (Bill) Glenn Lange was born in Wichita Kansas on June 17, 1942 to Charles William (Jiggs) Lange and Fairy Louise Smith Lange. Bill passed on to his Heavenly Home on May 9th, 2024 in Eldon, Missouri.

Bill attended the Wichita public schools and a one room school house called High Rock between Peru and Sedan Kansas. Bill graduated from Wichita East High School before joining the Army Reserves. He graduated from Ozark Bible College (now Ozark Christian College) in Joplin Missouri in 1982.

On February 12, 1961, Bill married Claudean June (Tiny) Campbell and they spent the next 63 years together. Surviving him are his three sons William Jr. of Pensacola Florida; Curtis Andrew of Tonganoxie Kansas; and Jeffrey Dean of Eldon, Missouri.  Two Daughters-in-law, Mary and Sherry. Seven Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, and two honorary Grandchildren (Morgan and Donna Johnson).

He was preceded by his parents, his older brother Charles Owen (Johnnie) Lange, his older sister Barbara Joan Lange Fall-Leaf, younger sister Marsha Lester Lange, and his younger brother Dale Edward Lange. He was also preceded by a half sister, Helen Hill.

Interment will be at a date to be determined at Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
