Wayne Weston Jarrett, 98, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at his residence near Eldon, Missouri. He was born February 7, 1928 in Norfolk, Arkansas the son of the late Manford and Mattie (Miller) Jarrett. On July 2, 1949 in Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Virgie (Teal) Jarrett who survives of the home.

Special Friend, Jason Vanhooser
Along with his parents, two sisters, Frances Jarrett and Irene Carrender, and brothers Jesse E. Jarrett and Frank Jarrett preceded him in death.
Wayne graduated in 1945 from Eldon High School. Throughout his life he was employed in many fields, including International Shoe factory in Eldon, MO; was manager for Ozark Theater and the Corral Drive In; he hauled fertilizer for MFA in Eldon; was a grain farmer in Tuscumbia and owned two cattle farms in Eldon finally retiring. Wayne was very talented in many areas including art and music. He dearly loved bluegrass and country music where he played the mandolin with some local bands, but his greatest love was his family.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:30 PM at Spring Garden Cemetery near Eugene, MO.
