Wayne Alan Edwards

Wayne Alan Edwards, age 64, passed away September 25, 2012 at his home. He was born December 17, 1947 to John Garnett Edwards and Virginia Florence Byler and they preceded him in death. Wayne retired from Duke Energy. Then, returning to central Missouri for his retirement. He loved to watch NASCAR, enjoyed fishing and his garden projects. He enjoyed viewing the bald eagles from his spot near the Missouri river and just socializing with friends and family. "Chub's" fun loving wit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by 2 daughters Mary (Missy) Taylor of Louisville, KY and Amy McDowell of Baton Rouge, LA. Three Brothers, Gilbert "Bogie", Bob and Ronnie Edwards and sisters Shirley Potter and Nevelyn Nivens. Three grandsons, Zachary Mason Taylor, Jacob Carl McDowell and Evan Riley-Wayne McDowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Riley Garnett "RG" Edwards. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Roll Funeral Home with a funeral service on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Roll Funeral Home Chapel in California, MO Memorials are suggested to the Food Bank of Central Missouri, Summer Food 4 Kids program, 2101 Vandiver Drive, Columbia, MO 65202
