Wanda Martin Obituary

Wanda Kay Martin, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 11, 1955, she was the daughter of Hazel Eileen Clinkenbeard/Moore and Leslie H. Clinkenbeard.

Kay was united in marriage to William “Don” Martin on June 5, 1976, in Crocker, Missouri, and together they were blessed with a son.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

If you knew Kay, one thing was very evident—she loved the Lord and loved people. She was baptized early in life and remained a devoted servant of God. Kay dedicated many years to working at the Crosspointe Church Camp in Rocky Mount, where she found great joy in guiding young people in their faith. A loving homemaker, she embraced her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished time spent boating, fishing, traveling, tending to birds (and skillfully keeping squirrels away from the birdseed), and most of all, being with her grandchildren.

Kay’s legacy of love and faith will be carried on by those who survive her: her beloved husband, William Martin; her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Leah Martin; and her three cherished grandchildren, Luke, Elijah, and Sarah Beth Martin, along with close relatives and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 15 at Potter's House in Camdenton Missouri at11:00am with lunch following.

Kay’s kindness, faith, and devotion to her family and community will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Karen Wheaton Ministries “The Ramp”.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
