Viola C. Lepper-Ihler, 92 of Eugene, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born May 28, 1931 in Henley, Missouri the daughter of the late Frank H. Kempker, Sr. and Celeste (Looten) Kempker. On May 20, 1950 in Mary’s Home, Missouri she was united in marriage to Alfred Lepper who preceded her in death on September 7, 1993. She then married Amos A. Ihler in Mary’s Home, Missouri on October 25, 1997 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2011.

Grandchildren, Tonya Kliethermes, Matt Graham (Debbie), Bradley Lepper (Tara), Clinton Otto (Amanda), Devin Lepper (Olivia), Denise Lepper, Makayla Culwell (Andy), Hayden Otto (Josie), & Mason Otto
Great Grandchildren, Ashlynn & Ryleigh Kliethermes, Brody & Ayla Graham, Eve & Emi Lepper, Austin & Iven Lepper, Sadie, Addison & Alaina Otto, with another Great Grandchild due in March 2024.

Along with her parents and two husbands, a son, Curtis Lepper, a sister, Lucille Limbach, and a brother, Frank Kempker, Jr. preceded her in death.
Viola began working on the farm milking cows, while she was also employed with International Shoe Company. She then was employed with the State of Missouri in the Public Safety Division, retiring after twenty-six years. Viola loved to dance and work on her farm, and loved when folks would listen to her leather case radio. Her greatest love was sharing her life with family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Christopher Aubuchon officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.
