Viola Boatcher Obituary

Viola “Maxine” Boatcher, 93 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born October 20, 1929 in Enon, Missouri the daughter of the late Henry R. and Elvia A. (Campbell) Shoemaker.  On August 20, 1961 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Verneal “Neal” L. Boatcher who preceded her in death on July 15, 1993.

Survivors include,

Four Nieces, Anita Sadler (Tom); Linda Lawson (Larry); Marla Schaefer (Greg) & Gina Shoemaker

Nephew, Wayne Shoemaker (Sharon)

Two Nephews, Mike Shoemaker & Larry James Shoemaker preceded her in death.

Maxine was a member of the Baptist faith.  She was employed with Crown Drugstore in Jefferson City, MO, The Bucket of Eldon, MO and FASCO Industries until her retirement.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Interment to follow at 11:30 AM at Greenmore Memorial Gardens of Barnett, MO with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating. 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
