Victoria Jane Ziegler

A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Victoria (Tori) Jane Ziegler, 28, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020.  She was born October 24, 1991 in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert D. Ziegler and Laura Bashore Ziegler.

Victoria is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Ziegler and her Grandparents, Martha and Corky Bashore.

Victoria was survived by her Mother, Laura Ziegler; Brother, Robert (Rachel) Ziegler;

Nephews, Ari Ziegler and Breck Ziegler;

Sister/Cousin, Rachel (Matt) Schmitt;

Half-Sisters, Nancy Ziegler and Mary Ziegler;

Step Siblings, Christopher (Joshonna) Berry; Karla (Denver) Denish; Laura Berry

Numerous cousins and extended family

Victoria was a 2010 graduate of Blue Springs High School.  She played volleyball and enjoyed spending time with her many friends.  Victoria had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.  She was a loving and compassionate person.  Her love of animals had her working and volunteering with various animal rescue and veterinarians throughout the Kansas City area.  Victoria loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, float trips, the beach, trips to Colorado, and photography.  Her adventurous spirit took her skydiving while living in California.  She was a Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan.  Victoria got a chance to attend a World Series game, an amazing memory she shares with her mother.  She valued family and adored spending time with her two sweet and “ornery” nephews, Ari and Breck.  Victoria had a deep appreciation for music and loved attending concerts.  She truly lived out the lyric by her favorite, Bob Marley, “one love, one heart, let’s get together and feel alright.”

Victoria will be deeply missed by those who know and love her. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM.
