Victor Lee Howser

Victor Lee Howser, 72, of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 6, 1952 in Barnett, Missouri the son of the late Basil and Lola (Geiger) Howser.  On August 4, 1972 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Shelley (Knies) Howser who survives of the home.

Brother, Loucian Howser (Lois)

Sisters, Virginia Hess, Jane Wallis (Curt), Sue Abbott, Phyllis Cornett (Bob)

Sisters-in-law, Karen Porter (Wayne), Ginny Williams (Rick)

Niece, Lyndsey Wood (Derek) and numerous nieces and nephews

Along with his parents, three siblings, Stanley Howser, Erma Johnson and June Wry, and brothers-in-law, Harley Johnson, Howard Wry, Dwain Hess and Danny Abbott, and a sister-in-law, Agnes Howser and an infant brother, Basil, Jr.  preceded him in death.

Vic proudly served in the United States Army and spent his life in the construction industry.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, canning vegetables and nature walks where he would hunt for mushrooms.  His greatest love was spending time with his family and his cat, Asher.  Vic was a great father, husband and provider and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Ray Brewer officiating.  Full Military Honors to follow at funeral home.

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
