Veneta (Jarvis) Furnell

Veneta Furnell, 85, of Climax Springs, Missouri passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  She was born August 12, 1940 in St. Johns, Arizona the daughter of the late George Jarvis and Virginia (Plum) Jarvis Bond.  On April 30, 1977 in Mesa, Arizona she was united in marriage to Glen Herbert Furnell who survives of the home.

Sisters-in-law, Jean Rohan of Salt Lake City, UT; Debra Furnell of Salt Lake City, UT

Brothers-in-law, George Furnell (Kathy) of Gilbert AZ; Clarence Furnell of Queen Creek, AZ

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 1168 Hwy KK Osage Beach, MO 65065 with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be Monday, January 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery 3306 Greenridge Rd Sedalia, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
