Tyler Benjamin “Scooter” Jones, 22, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home. He was born March 1, 2002 in Columbia, Missouri the son of Karl and Debbie (Witt) Jones.

Nephews, Payton Jones and Brackon Robinette which he was so proud of and loved very much, both of Eldon, MO
Gran, Ruth Furstenau of Eldon, MO
Aunts & Uncles, Tammy “Sis” & Ron Ahart of Eldon, MO; Dewayne & Leslie Witt of FL; Tim & Dalana Witt of Eldon, MO; Darcy & Rick Morrison of OK; Ronda & Rick Wry of Barnett, MO; Ron Jones of Eldon, MO and many cousins and other family members.
Tyler excelled in everything that he did. He attended UCM for two years and then returned home to work for JB Hooks until his passing. He and his friend Jordon Bailey flew to Japan this year to see Bryce VanHooser where he was able to see the blooming of the cherry blossoms.
Tyler was a true online gamer and leaves behind a list of many close friends and competitors, Jordon Bailey, Bryce VanHooser, Anthony Evans, Corey Terrell, Joey Terrell, Shane Heigl, Jacob Williams, Josiah Gulledge, Kyle Franklin, Shawn Heigl and many gamer friends from around the world. Also, Austin Oberriether and Matthew Fair were his best childhood friends.
Tylers Dad, Karl Jones, Papa and Nan, Jerry and JoAnn Jones and Grandpa, Dorsey Furstenau preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM with Brother Travis Hardesty officiating. Graveside Services are planned at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
