Ty C. Brewer, 84 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born February 7, 1939 in Yankton, South Dakota the son of the late Francis and Dormalee Garnett (Woodward) Brewer. On December 2, 1958 he was united in marriage to Janice (Rubendall) Brewer who survives.

Children, Lisa Brewer (Jeff Golden) of Eldon, MO; John Brewer (Judy Byrd) of North Carolina; Tracy Bishop (Mark) of Virginia
Three Grandchildren, George Turpin, Cody Turpin & Sebastian Bishop
Two Great-Grandchildren, Ely Turpin Gerling & Ireland Turpin
A sister and a brother preceded him in death.
Ty served in the United States Navy for ten years and then the United States Air Force for ten years where he retired from active duty and was a decorated veteran. He graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Ty was employed with FASCO Industries in Eldon, MO as a manufacturing engineer and then worked civil service at Fort Leonard Wood for five years until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Eldon VFW Post #24442 of Eldon, MO. He enjoyed playing softball and participated in the Senior Olympics lifting weights, throwing shot put, bowling, racquetball and track, receiving over eighty medals.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Full Military Honors presented. Private Family Interment at a later date.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the Central Missouri Honor Flight of Columbia, MO.
