Trudell (Trudy) Ganske 1947-2020

Trudy (Trudell Macht Risteau) Ganske went to be with her Lord on August 4th after a long struggle with C.O.P.D..  At her side was best friend and neighbor, Mary Wilson.  The Macht and Ganske families will be forever grateful to Mary for her loving care of Trudy over the recent months, to the very end.

Trudy is survived by her beloved sons John (Jeanette) Risteau and Eric (Laura) Ganske, the father of her sons, Steve Risteau and Doug Ganske and her siblings Jon (Jan) Macht, Paul (Cindy) Macht, Wade (Tanuya) Macht, Thomas (Kathleen) Macht and sister Paulette (Macht) Class.  Trudy also leaves behind grandchildren, David, Charlotte and Lillian Ganske, Isabel, Wyatt and Marissa Risteau, and the LeCorno family.  She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Ludwilla Macht, along with her maternal and fraternal grandparents, and her life partner Vic LeCorno.

Trudy was an incredible baker and was well known and dearly cherished by the local nursing homes and other facilities who were the recipients of her baskets, boxes and tins of candies and cookies-especially at Christmastime.  Along with her loyal canine buddy, Tucker, she enjoyed gardening around her home.

Because of the ongoing Pandemic, there will be no calling hours or funeral.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Compassus Hospice.  They were wonderful in this difficult time.
