Treva "T" (Taylor) Crismon

Treva “T” (Taylor) Crismon, 94, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 at StoneBridge Senior Living Facility in Westphalia, Missouri. She was born December 28, 1928 in Miller County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Clarence D. and Leah (Greenway) Taylor. On October 7, 1951 at the Eldon First Christian Church she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Crismon who preceded her in death on January 29, 2016. 

Survivors include her children, Connie (Crismon) Ackerman (Rick) Carrollton, MO; Cheryl (Crismon) Henningsen (Blaine) Jefferson City, MO; K. Taylor Crismon (Sue) Eldon, MO. 

Grandchildren, Brandon Ackerman (Cyndi); Dallas Ackerman (Amy); Derick Ackerman; Adam Henningsen (Hannah); Eric Henningsen (Erica); Meghan Bezaire (Jeff); Joseph Crismon (Katherine); Drew Crismon (Massaly); Leah (Simpson) Berg (Connor); Will Simpson. 

Great grandchildren, Spencer Ackerman, Dayton Ackerman, Ava Ackerman, Ellie Ackerman, Taylor Katherine Crismon, Callan Crismon, Jettson Bezaire, Brooklyn Bezaire, Brynn Henningsen, Atlas Crismon. 

A daughter, T. Diane (Crismon) Simpson, preceded her in death on April 19, 2014; and sister Evelyn Wrye also preceded her in death.

Treva was a graduate of Eldon High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia  where she was a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron, Alpha Sigma Phi, Mortar Board Honoraries, Alpha Phi Social Sorority, AWS Council, Judiciary Board and served as Home Economics Club President. She taught Home Economics at Oskaloosa, Iowa and Fulton, Missouri high schools. She enjoyed her many years as a substitute teacher at Eldon R-1 School District. Treva and husband Kenneth were longtime members of the First Christian Church of Eldon, Missouri. 

Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Eldon, Missouri. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Bill Foglesong officiating. Burial will follow at the Tuscumbia Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the First Christian Church of Eldon, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Missouri.
