Thomas Spriggs, 83, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born October 28, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas the son of the late Carl L. and Dorothy J. (Almond) Spriggs. On June 12, 1965 in Gridley, Kansas he was united in marriage to Judy (Schick) Spriggs who survives of the home.

Son, Todd Spriggs (Melissa) of Belleville, IL

One brother preceded him in death.
Tom proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO where he served as an Elder, a Deacon and board chairman. He taught for many years at School of the Osage and was also employed flying the Staff for Life helicopter for Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks. Tom was a member of the Eldon VFW Post #2442 of Eldon, MO; a 50 year Mason and member of the Masonic Lodge of Hickory Hill 211 and a member of the Shriner’s of Wichita, KS. He was Military Honor Guard Coordinator, and also served as Administrator for the Miller County Ambulance District and was honored to be an Eagle Scout.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 5:00 PM with Rev. Bill Foglesong officiating. Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO with Full Military Honors presented.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO or to the Central Missouri Honor Flight.
