Stanley J. Burton

Stanley J. Burton, 67 of Boonville, Missouri, formerly of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Riverdell Care Center in Boonville, Missouri.  He was born August 28, 1951 in Miller County, Missouri the son of the late Buell and Vernie (Horton) Burton.  On August 18, 1972 in Lake Ozark, Missouri he was united in marriage to Joyce (Horton) Burton who preceded him in death on August 11, 2015.

Survivors include,

Daughters, Lori Burton & Matt Christal of Boonville, MO; Sara Burton of Lake Ozark, MO

Three Grandchildren, Samantha and Koby Abel & Mackenzie Burton

A son, Jesse G. Burton and a brother, Jesse Burton preceded him in death.

Stanley was a volunteer firefighter serving as Captain/Engineer for the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District and also a heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of the Bagnell Baptist Church.  He was an avid Cardinals fan and Missouri Tigers fan, and also enjoyed reading in his spare time.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Gott Cemetery in Ulman, MO. 

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
