Shirley J. (Borton) Hicks

Shirley J. Hicks, 74, of Laurie, Missouri passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Laurie Care Center in Laurie, Missouri.  She was born December 25, 1944 in Benton Harbor, Michigan the daughter of the late Nathan G. and Betty Jane (Johnson) Borton.  On January 29, 1965 in Barnett, Missouri she was united in marriage to Donald Ray Hicks who preceded her in death on April 5, 2010.

Survivors include,

Sons, Danny Hicks of Eldon, MO; David Hicks of Camdenton, MO

Daughters, Betty Hicks of Columbia, MO; Sheri Hicks of Columbia, MO

Five Grandchildren & Four Great Grandchildren

One brother, Danny Lee Borton preceded her in death.

A Visitation Service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. 

Private Family Interment will be held at Big Rock Cemetery in Barnett, MO at a later date.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Laurie Care Center Activity Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
