Ruby Louise (Allen) Mead

Ruby Louise Mead, 88, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Osage Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born January 15, 1936 in Miller County in Eldon, Missouri the daughter of the late Willie “Bill” Howard and Anna Louise (Watt) Allen.  On June 15, 1957 at Bagnell Church in Miller County, Missouri, she was united in marriage to James William Mead who preceded her in death on July 26, 2023.

Survivors include,

Daughter, Debbie Stout (Ron) of Lake Ozark, MO

Son, Alan Mead (Melissa Morgan) of Barnett, MO

Three Grandchildren, Steven Stout, Annaliese Mead & Juliette Mead

Brother, James Allen of Austin, TX

Sister-in-law, Barbara Riley of Osage Beach, MO

Niece, Courtney Riley McElyea of Eldon, MO

Along with her parents, and her husband, a daughter, Marjorie Mead, one sister, Jo Ann Parker, and one brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Riley preceded her in death.

Ruby was a graduate of School of the Osage and the University of Missouri.  She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach, MO.  In her younger years, Ruby was a part of and skied in the Lake Ozark Water Show.  She enjoyed playing the piano and singing, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

Graveside Services for Ruby Louise Mead will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.
