Rosetta Mae (Woods) Meyer

Rosetta Mae Meyer, 69, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born August 9, 1956 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the daughter of the late Junior Woods and Roseanne (Routen) Porter.

Survivors include,

Children, Michael Brown Jr of New Florence, MO; Mary Liebrum (Ron) of Eldon, MO; Chris Brown of Jonesburg, MO

Seven Grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Michael Brown III (Kailee), Cassandra Brown (Fiancé) Brandon Phillips), Ashley Burris (Josh), Nicholas Liebrum, Quinlin Brown (Emily), Thomas Brown

Six Great-Grandchildren

Sister, Darlene Kliethermes (Mitch) of Jefferson City, MO

Brother, Jim Tomblinson (Cheryl) of Jefferson City, MO

Along with her parents, two daughters-in-law, Billie Brown & Carrie Brown, and four siblings, Ralph Junior Woods, Rhonda Kay Schulte, Stanley E. Woods, Lester “Gene” Eugene Tomblinson preceded her in death.

Rosetta attended Eldon Bibleway Church of Eldon, MO.  She was an avid Pepsi, fried chicken, mashed potato, cream corn and Big Mac lover.  She greatly enjoyed playing bingo and Uno with her grandchildren. 

Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Pastor Rick Pifer officiating.  Visitation will be prior to service from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. 

Memorials in her name are suggested to Eldon Nursing and Rehab of Eldon, MO.
