Roger Eads Obituary

Roger Dale "Rollo"  Eads, 77, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born July 18, 1947 in Eldon, Missouri the son of the late Leslie and Mildred (Stone) Eads.  On May 8, 1987 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Joan (Cunningham) Eads who survives of the home.

 

Other survivors include,

 

Grandchildren, Christopher Burns of Jefferson City, MO; Joshua Burns of Jefferson City, MO

 

Great-Grandchildren, Jaxton Burns of Boonville, MO; Taylin Burns of Boonville, MO

 

Aunt, Margaret Morris of Columbia, MO

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins

 

A step-son, Brian Burns and a brother, Reginald Eads preceded him in death.

 

Roger graduated from Eldon High School in 1965 and then proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968.  He was employed with the Telephone Company in Jefferson City, MO for thirty-seven years until his retirement.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bill Foglesong officiating.  Full Military Honors following service at the church.

 

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and private family interment will be held at the Eldon City Cemetery at a later date.

 

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Fund or the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO.

 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
