Rodney Dale Fitzpatrick, 73 of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away peacefully at his home with his two children by his side on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born August 1, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Rudy J. and Fern (Hall) Fitzpatrick Corbin. On November 20, 1989 in Miami, Oklahoma he was united in marriage to Joy Lynn (Colter) Fitzpatrick who preceded him in death on November 22, 2020.
Survivors include,
Daughter, Stacy Fitzpatrick Singer of Lake Ozark, MO
Son, Jason Fitzpatrick of Osage Beach, MO
Two Grandchildren, Corbin Singer (Lindsey); Courtney Singer
Great-Grandson, Jack Corbin Singer
Niece, Patti Fitzpatrick Alcorn (Danny) of Sedalia, MO
Along with his parents and wife, a brother, William Fitzpatrick preceded him in death.
Rodney was a 1969 graduate of Eldon high school. Shortly after high school he was married to Debbie (Byrd) Blomberg and relocated to Jefferson City, MO and they were blessed with two children. Rodney was employed as a supervisor with Westinghouse. He then became owner/operator of Games Amusement in Jefferson City, MO and then went on to develop All Games Amusement serving the lake area. Rod was an avid golfer and loved his 1933 Chevy Coupe. He also would have made a bet on just about anything.
Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:00 PM with Rev. Justin Houston officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Sportsman’s Bar of Eldon, MO. Everyone is welcome.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
