Robert "Bob" Herman Shipman

Robert “Bob” Herman Shipman, 93, of Eugene, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born October 7, 1931 in Jefferson City, Missouri the son of the late Herman and Blanche (Green) Shipman.  He was united in marriage to Marilyn Joan (Bruce) Shipman who preceded him in death and then married Anna Mae (Bontrager) Shipman who also preceded him.

Survivors include,

Children, Bruce Shipman (Jennifer); Brent Shipman (Darla)

Step-Son, Alan McNeely (Joanie)

Four Grandchildren, Robert Ryan Schubert (Jennifer); James Jason Schubert (Helen), Mandi Evans (Jake) and Brandon Shipman (Kacey)

Three Step-Grandchildren, Sara McNeely, Erin Miller (Mark), and Levi McNeely

Six Great-Grandchildren; Five Step-Great-Grandchildren

Sister, Linda Fosberg

Along with his parents and two wives, a daughter, Brenda Schubert, step-son, James A. McNeely, Jr., a step-daughter in law, Judy McNeely, a grandson, Sammy Loveall, step-grandson, Andy Benjamin McNeely, and a brother, Ronnie Shipman preceded him in death.

Bob was a member of the Eugene Christian Church of Eugene, MO.  He was employed with the Missouri Department of Transportation from 1950-1989 until his retirement.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 4:30 PM at Spring Garden Cemetery

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Eugene Christian Church or Spring Garden Cemetery.
