Robert N. Schwaller

Robert N. Schwaller, 78 of Mary’s Home, Missouri passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at his residence in Mary’s Home, Missouri.  He was born December 8, 1945 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late William and Alvina (Jurgensmeyer) Schwaller.  On July 4, 1978 in Miami, Oklahoma he was united in marriage to Rita (Hale) Schwaller who survives of the home.

Three Grandchildren, Connor Michael (Nichole); Lauren Michael, Alexis Michael

Two Great-Grandsons, Elijah Michael & Jameson Michael

Sisters, Carol Sexton Grubb (Tom) of Florence, AZ & Jennie Lee Cronkite of Cave Creek, AZ

Brother, Tom Schwaller (Delores) of Meridianville, AL

A sister, Mary Jane Raymond from Gold Canyon, AZ and a brother, Darrell David Schwaller of Mary’s Home, MO preceded him in death.

Robert was drafted in 1967 and served in the United States Army.  He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO, the Knights of Columbus and the Eldon VFW Post #2442.  Robert was employed as a bus driver for Cole R-V School District for twelve years and was active as an umpire for local softball games.

Memorial Services for Robert are being planned at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital or the Mid-Missouri Honor Flight Program.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
