Ralph “Shane” Imler, 53, of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at his residence in Rocky Mount, Missouri. He was born January 11, 1967 in Jefferson City, Missouri the son of the late Ralph Edwin “Bud” and Margaret Kay (Bowden) Imler.

Survivors include,

Daughters, Heather Imler of Camdenton, MO; Carli Imler of Iberia, MO

Son, Ralph Dylan Imler of Rocky Mount, MO

Three Grandchildren, Jayden, Jazmyn & Mavis

Sisters, Melony St. Clair of Racine, MO; Jackie Imler of Eldon, MO

Brother, Eric Imler of Eldon, MO

“Dads are someone to look up to, follow, admire, be proud of, someone to learn from, give respect to, cry with, share everything with. My dad was all of those things and more. Dad was a penny-pinching prankster, a little bit of a hoarder, always “piddlin”, had a soft spot for dogs, loved his kids and even more so his grandkids. Could make the best camp fire, no matter the location. Loved bbqs, made the best camp taties this side of the Ozarks! He enjoyed country music, and an ice cold beverage. Dad always had a smile, a way to make you grin and want to scream at the same time. Dad was an early riser, always on time, hard worker, back breaker most days, he would give until he didn’t have anything left to give, he was a small man in stature only, some even called him shorty, but he was tough as steel and behind all that, a heart of gold full of love. He was uncle Ralphie to many, to a few he was a loving brother, a helping hand to others, but to me he was dad. He taught us a lot of things but, one of the most important things he taught me, was to be strong. You will always be missed.”

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Warehouse 55 Eldon, MO. Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
