Phillip Jeffrey "P.J" Prouty

Phillip Jeffrey (P.J.) Prouty, 55, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, Missouri.  He was born November 19, 1969 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Bob and Lee (Manes) Prouty.

Survivors include,

Mother, Lee Prouty of Versailles, MO

Brothers, Dave Prouty (Marty) of Boise, ID; Dale Prouty (Elaine) of Irvine, CA

Sister, Cindy Hart of Gageville, MO

Beloved Aunt, Grace Prouty of Rolla, MO

Many Nieces and Nephews; and his lifelong Gateway Industries family in Eldon, MO

His father, Bob Prouty, half-sister, Joan Moore, and brother-in-law, Norman Hart preceded him in death.

Phil worked at Gateway Industries, loved Special Olympics, and spent Saturday’s bowling at the Eldon Lanes.

Private Family Interment were held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Eldon City Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  

Memorials in his name are suggested to Gateway Industries of Eldon, MO.
