Paul C. Edgington

Paul C. Edgington, 85, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born April 22, 1935 in Hutchinson, Kansas the son of the late Clinton and Gladys (Peters) Edgington.  On April 5, 1955 in Hutchinson, Kansas he was united in marriage to Carol J. (Osenbaugh) Edgington who survives of the home.

A son, Steve Edgington and two brothers, Edward and John Edgington preceded him in death.

Paul was a member of the Eldon United Methodist Church and also a member of several woodcarving clubs.  He was employed as a teacher in Eldorado Springs, MO for four years and then moved to Eldon where he taught with the Eldon School District for twenty-two years as the Industrial Arts teacher until his retirement in 1992.  Paul was an avid fisherman and a member of the Wing’s Camping Club.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM also at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Joan DeBoe officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Eldon United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
