Patricia Rose (Pruitt) Singleton

Patricia Rose Singleton, 88, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Rock Island Village.  She was born April 12, 1930 in Fulton, Kansas, the daughter of the late Urvy and Margaret (Durbin) Pruitt.  She was united in marriage to Howard Singleton on June 11, 1950.

Pat was a mother first for many years and at the age of 50 got her master’s degree as a licensed professional counselor and worked for the children’s home in Springfield and Substance Center in Mack’s Creek, MO.

Patricia will forever be remembered by many but especially by her surviving family, son, Kim Singleton of Springfield, MO, daughter, Rosemary Rauber, and husband Frank Rauber of Switzerland, son, Greg Singleton of Kansas City, MO, daughter, Lisa Flaugher of Eldon, MO, daughter, Linda Owen and husband Jack Owen of Eldon, MO, daughter Michelle Opie and husband Danny Opie of Eldon, MO, son, Marty Singleton and wife Debbie Singleton of Eldon, MO.  In addition to children she has twelve grandchildren, Robert and Cole Lodge, Logan, Tyler and Taylor Flaugher, Tessa Müller and Kelsey Rauber, Danielle and Bryce Opie, Jackson, Samuel, and Michael Singleton.  Great grandmother to three.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and granddaughter, Shae Singleton along with one sister and six brothers.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Alex Gabriel officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Hospice Compassus.
