Patricia Ann (Trapini) Sanning

Patricia Ann Sanning (Trapini), 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1945, to Erma (Claude) and Peter Trapini in Ottawa, IL.

Patricia married James Sanning on November 29, 2001. She spent much of her childhood with her maternal grandparents, Henry and Gertrude Claude. Patricia worked in health care for most of her life. She enjoyed attending auctions with her husband and, like many Italian women, loved cooking and feeding people. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 24 years, James Sanning; four children: James (Sebby) McKee, Jr. of Ottawa, IL, Jennifer (Jeff) Kueteman of Ottawa, IL, Jyll (Troy) Green of Eldon, MO, and Gabriel (Brenda) Harris of Jefferson City, MO; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanne Bass of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest daughter, Jamie Stewart.

Per Patricia’s wishes, the family will hold a private service.
