Olivia Byrd Obituary

Olivia Maxine Byrd, 92, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born November 19, 1928 in Union, Missouri the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruby “Velma” (Scrivner) Crowe. 

Survivors include,

Daughters, Deborah Blomberg (Rick) of Jefferson City, MO; Rebecca Houston (Ron) of Barnett, MO

Four Grandchildren, Stacy Singer, Jason Fitzpatrick, Justin Houston & Jennifer Houston

Two Great Grandchildren, Corbin Singer (Lindsey) & Courtney Oliva Singer

A Niece, a Nephew, several Cousins including one special Cousin, Judy Fitzpatrick

A Brother, Dale Crowe and a Nephew, Robert Crowe preceded her in death.

Maxine was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for twenty-eight years before retiring.  She was a member of the Waldo Avenue Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO and attended the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.  She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. David White officiating.  Burial will follow at Enloe Cemetery in Russellville, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Samaritan’s Purse.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
