Norma D. (Tunze) Runge

Norma D. Runge, 89, of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at her residence in Tuscumbia, Missouri.  She was born December 11, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Burkenbock) Tunze.  On July 27, 1957 in Pine Lawn, Missouri she was united in marriage to Kenneth Joseph Runge who survives of the home.

Children, Barbara O’Bryan (Gerry) of St. Charles, MO; Kenneth C. Runge (Pat) of Tuscumbia, MO; Nancy Moore (Curt) of New Bloomfield, MO

Nine Grandchildren and Twelve Great-Grandchildren

Along with her parents, two sisters preceded her in death.

Norma graduated in 1955 from Normandy High School in St. Louis County, MO.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO and was known fondly for her great cooking skills.  She loved her husband Ken of 68 years, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and services are planned for a later date.
