Norma Mae George, 78, of Boonville, Missouri left this life on November 23, 2013. She was born January 20, 1935, the daughter of Carl and Gertrude (Baker) Brizendine. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Jewell D. George and her younger brother Jack. She is survived by four daughters, Peggy L. Stauffer (Ron) of Las Vegas, NV, Jewell Diane Althoff of California, MO, Carla Kaye Dilse (Don) of Jamestown, MO and Shelia M. George of Jamestown. Seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Stacey, Seth, Brian (Stephanie), Bradley, Tonya and Clayton. Three, great-grandchildren Chesney, Gabriel and Wyatt, and two nephews, Terry and Bobby.
Mae was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved camping and fishing with her husband, family and friends. She enjoyed life on the go, visiting with her neighbors, dancing, hitting up local rummage sales and was an avid fan of Mizzou Men's basketball. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Jamestown. Memorials are suggested to Hospice Compassus.
