Mitchell Troy Stock

Mitchell Troy "Mitch" Stock, 40, Passed away at his home, surrounded by his family and friends on Friday, October 12, 2012. Mitchell was born on April 15, 1972 , Son of Allen Wayne Stock and Kathy Lynn Halderman. He attended Jefferson City High School graduating in 1990. He married Kristin Lea Brown on November 22, 2003 . He was a registered nurse and worked at many hospitals most recently as an ICU nurse at the Veteran's Hospital in Columbia, MO. Mitch loved his family and was quite the Sportsman. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing and just being out of doors. He played in the band 2buckdrunk for many years and was a great guitar player. He served his state and country in the U.S. Army and Missouri National Guard. He loved working on cars and had a special affection to his '71 Cuda. Mitchell is survived by his parents, Allen Stock of Holts Summit, Kathy Halderman (Lloyd) of Eldon, MO, his wife Kristin and his children Nathan Allen, Jordan Elizabeth and Evan Mitchell Stock. 2 brothers, Jason Stock (Bess), Nicholas Halderman , and 1 sister Nikki Halderman. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson City on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the church on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 10:00 am with the Reverend Russ Bowder officiating. Burial will be in the California City Cemetery, California, MO. Donations can be made to the Mitchell Stock Children's College Fund, c/o Roll Funeral Home, 211 S. Oak St., California, MO 65018.
