Minnie Squires, 93, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born August 24, 1931 in Nicut, Oklahoma the daughter of the late John and Laura (Brown) Holiman. On November 28, 1986 in Columbia, Missouri she was united in marriage to Benjamin Squires who preceded her in death on January 17, 2021.
Survivors include,
Daughter, Donna Gail Crane Buchanan (Lloyd “Buck”)
Two Granddaughters, Marissa Arnott (Jeremy); Laura Harrison
Six Great-Grandchildren
Siblings, Bud Holiman (Geri); Joyce Williams (Larry)
Along with her parents and husband, Benny, a daughter, Lee Ann Crane, and her first husband, Harold Crane preceded her in death.
She lived in Rocky Mount, MO for many years with Benny. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, and entertaining. She often said, “Benny and I danced a million miles together.”
Memorials in her name are suggested to the American Heart Association.
At the request of the deceased, no services are planned at this time.
