Michael Sanders

Michael Sanders, 65, of Syracuse, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at his home.  He was born January 12, 1958 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late Ray Curtis Sanders and Betty (McGill) Robinett. 

Survivors include,

Daughter, Michelle Mabe (Andy) of Wichita, KS

Three Grandchildren, Hayden Mabe, Maddox Mabe and Jaxon Mabe

Siblings, Sharon Eldridge of Warsaw, MO; Duane Snelling (Donna) of Warsaw, MO; Lisa Birdsong of Jefferson City, MO; Ronnie Sanders of Vienna, MO

Nieces & Nephews, Kimberly Apperson (Darren); Angela Hunter (Mike); Aaron Birdsong (Suzi); Lindsay Whittington (Chuck); David Snelling (Caitlyn); Curtis Snelling; Chanda Fleck (Charlie)

A brother-in-law, George Eldridge preceded him in death.

Mike proudly served in the United States Marines.  He was employed as an over the road truck driver for forty-years before retiring.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM with Scott Gutierrez officiating.  Burial will follow at Tol Wood Cemetery with Full Military Honors presented.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Michelle Mabe to be given In Care of Hayden, Maddox and Jaxon Mabe in memory of their Papa Mike.
