Mary Jane (Wells) Sears

Mary Jane Sears, 88, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her residence in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born January 14, 1933 in Miller County, Missouri the daughter of the late Ples and Dessie (Upton) Wells.  On December 23, 1950 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert J. Sears whom she shared seventy years and one month together with.

Nine Grandchildren, Michele Vaughan, John Sears (Candice), Jared Sears, Melissa McDaniel, Kenneth Paul McDaniel, Andrea Westbrook (Hunter), Joshua Sears (Gabby), Craig Siebert & Alicia Barrows (Ryan)

Twenty-four Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren

A son, Larry Sears, two brothers, James Wells & Larry Wells, two sisters, Eileen Kidwell & Cora Mae Kelley preceded her in death.

Mary Jane was a member of the Aurora Springs Baptist Church where she was very active serving as a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir, helped with funeral dinners and all of the church activities including the yearly Christmas boxes.  She was employed with the First Baptist Church Daycare Center as a cook for twenty years.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Aurora Springs Baptist Church of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Smith and Pastor Earl Wood officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Aurora Springs Baptist Church.
