Mary Arline (Wooldridge) Mergelkamp

Mary Arline Mergelkamp, 90 of Barnett, Missouri passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at Rock Island Village in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born March 7, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Arley and Mary Louella (Layton) Wooldridge.  On September 30, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri she was united in marriage to Oliver “Ollie” Mergelkamp who preceded her in death on May 21, 2009.

Her children, Jan Wirick (Dan) of Fenton, MO; Nancy Shields of Indianapolis, IN; Gary Mergelkamp of Palm Desert, CA; Mike Mergelkamp (Jill) of Barnett, MO; Mark Mergelkamp (Teresa) of Barnett, MO; Margie Brockmeier of Barnett, MO; Lisa Veatch of Kansas City, MO

Grandchildren, Matt Bridwell (Amanda); Will Shields (Molly); Tenille Peters (John); Sarah Robinett (Chris); John M. Brockmeier (Erin); Dru Carlisle (Brad); Ann Brockmeier (Bryan); Luke Veatch; Logan Veatch; Steven Brockmeier; Kate Veatch (Josh)

Great-Grandchildren, Teddy Shields; Darian Mergelkamp; Dearah Mergelkamp; Omri Eads; Wyatt & Hadley Brockmeier; Klayton Kirchhoff;  Keegan & Jada Kempland

Along with her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brad Veatch.

Arline was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO where she was active in the Altar Sodality, as a lector, a Rosary leader and a Eucharistic Minister along with the annual church picnic.  Her love of God and her faith were the center of her life and she dearly loved sharing it with her family.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 3:30 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.   Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO with Rev. Wayne Boyer officiating.  Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
