Mary Lou (Wood) Landreth, 85 of Eldon, Missouri passed away on April 1, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on September 2, 1939 in Granite City, Illinois the daughter of the late Ward Wellington Wood and Gertie Rae (Dickey) Wood. She was united in marriage to Fred Norman Landreth on November 27, 1954 who survives of the home.

Children, Linda (Wayne) Vieira of Eldon, MO, Peggy Landreth of Daytona Beach, FL, Norman Landreth of Gravois Mills, MO, John Landreth (Fang) of South Korea, Cindy Lambeth (Doug) of Eldon, MO and Melanie Johnston (Ryan) of Eldon, MO, and son in law Jim Kirkweg of Eldon, MO.
Many grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Two Children preceded her in death, son Bryan T Landreth and wife Sherrie, daughter Judith Kirkweg, and siblings Norma Warren, Vera Belcher, Ward Samuel Wood, and Emily Hagopian.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and designing flower beds, putting quilts together, embroidering and crocheting. She especially enjoyed teaching her grandchildren and great grandchildren to sew and loved to tell stories of her childhood or of her younger years. She enjoyed taking long rides to discover new antique shops or flea markets or just look at the scenery. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Brother Wayne Dinwiddie officiating. Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
