Mary Elizabeth Berendzen

Mary Elizabeth Berendzen, 89 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born September 17, 1935 in Mary’s Home, Missouri the daughter of the late George H. and Olivia R. (Tellman) Berendzen.

Survivors include,

Sister, Susan Atkinson (Gene) of Jefferson City, MO

Sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Berendzen of Chapel Hill, NC

Several Nieces and Nephews

Along with her parents, two brothers, Harry Berendzen and Robert L. Berendzen preceded her in death.

Mary lovingly cared for her mother for thirty plus years.  She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO.  She loved living at the Lee House in Eldon, MO. 

Visitation will be Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Simon Kanyike officiating.  Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery Fund.
