Marvin A. Smith

Marvin Smith, age 80, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away peacefully November 23, 2024.  He was born to Melvin and Mary Ellen Smith on December 23, 1943,  and grew up with his brother Marion (Mike) in Des Moines, Iowa. He was in the Army Reserves from 1961 to 1968.

He was preceded in death by his brother Mike, his son Scott, and stepson Thomas Bolz Jr. He is survived by his wife Doris, daughter Shelly, daughter-in-law Amy,  stepdaughters Karen (Mike) Landess and Kelly (David) Donaldson, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marvin loved taking care of his yard and being near the water.  He loved boating and vacationing in Florida.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and services are planned at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
