Martha Nan (Mountjoy) Sapp

Martha Nan Sapp, 88, of Ashland, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Miller County Nursing and Rehab in Tuscumbia, Missouri.  She was born February 15, 1936 to Ralph and Stella (Hinshaw) Mountjoy.  Martha Nan married Harold Gilbert Sapp in 1954 and he preceded her in death.  She retired from the University of Missouri Healthcare Systems where she worked for the Department of Anesthesiology.

Preceding her in death; longtime partner, Bobbie Gilmore; three sisters, Mary Francis Lewis, Jane Richardson, Dorothy Nichols; two brothers, Kenneth Mountjoy, Joe Mountjoy.

Survivors includer her son, Randy Sapp (Jani); sisters, Laverne McKim and Norma Sue Downing.

At Martha Nan’s request, her body will be donated to the University of Missouri School of Medicine for the advancement of science.

No services will be held.
