Margaret Scheidt Obituary
Margaret Elizabeth Scheidt, 87, of California, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her home. She was born on May 11, 1928 in California, Mo., daughter of Riley and Caroline (Eicher) Zimmerman who preceded her in death.
Margaret graduated in 1946 from California High School, was united in marriage to Earl (Mickey) Scheidt on September 11, 1950 at Annunciation Catholic Church in California, MO. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1961.
Margaret worked as a bookkeeper at Scheidt hardware, was the co-owner of Ace Gas Company, she continued as the bookkeeper for Great Plains Gas Company and upon retirement was the secretary of Annunciation Catholic Church and was the secretary for the Moniteau County Fair Board. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 4 sons, Paul (Donna) Scheidt of Raytown, MO, Tim Scheidt and Dennis Scheidt of California, MO, Earl (Lori) Scheidt of Jamestown, MO and 2 daughters, Mickie (Jake) Bolinger and Katie Campbell also from California, MO. 14 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and an infant son Danny Scheidt.
Visitation will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 4 to 6 pm with a prayer service at 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Annunciation Church with burial at Annunciation Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the donors choice.
