Malinda Sue Henley

Malinda Sue Henley, 77, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born January 28, 1949 the daughter of the late James Herbert and Nina (Vernon) Henley.

Survivors include,

Daughter, Ashley Cowen (Randal) of Linn Creek, MO

Bonus Daughter, Stepheny Byrd (Bruce) of Brumley, MO

Six Grandchildren, Clayton Cowen, Jarrett Cowen, Christian Chandler, Rykin Homm, Paul Byrd & Parker Byrd

Sister-in-law, Barbara Henley of Jefferson City, MO

Along with her parents, a brother, James “Happy” Henley preceded her in death.

Malinda was employed with Husch Blackwell as a legal assistant until her retirement.  She was a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant for many years.  She was an avid dart player and enjoyed lunch dates with her classmates.  Malinda cherished time spent with her grandchildren, going on trips, being around people and dearly loved her dogs and animals.  She was interested in keeping up with current events and enjoyed reading newspapers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 PM with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating.  There will also be a Celebration of Life at the family home planned at a later date.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Eldon Animal Shelter or Dogwood Animal Shelter.
