Linda Kay (Pace) Siebert, 84, of Russellville, MO passed away peacefully on Aug. 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on April 20, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to George and Virginia (Snodgrass) Pace. Later in her life she had a stepmother, Gladys, whom she loved dearly.
She graduated from Eldon High School in 1958 and worked in various retail positions including selling Avon and owning the Bible Book Store and Wedding Wishes in Eldon MO, then she moved it to Russellville MO renaming it
Something Special. She had a passion for many things including her family, directing music in church, making crafts, decorating her yard with flowers and whimsical decorations that matched the season. She also was in charge of the Eldon Christmas Parade for many years, and most recently was in charge of the Good Neighbors program at her church, First Baptist Church of Eldon, which catered to and loved adults with special needs. That program was very dear to Linda's heart. She was an avid Cardinal’s Fan.
Linda married Norris Siebert in 1958. Early in their 66 years of marriage, Norris was in the US Army which moved them to Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, then back home to Missouri. They raised 5 children in Russellville. They now have nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband Norris; children, Debbie Siebert, Rick Siebert (Tammy), Julie Smith (Mike), and Keri Leigh Siebert; daughter-in-law Kassie Siebert and the late Brad Siebert, grandchildren Angela Roberds, Lynsey Dutton (Clark), Bethany Siebert, Michael Moceri (Liz), Jessica Means (Nick), Kaitlynn Orr (Joe), Kayla Anderson (James), Nathan Siebert (Allison), and Brianna Smith (Clint). Her only surviving
sibling is Shirley Gudde (Bob).
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George and David and stepsister Connie.
Visitation will be Monday, August 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. A funeral service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 10:00AM at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon, MO. Burial will follow at Enloe Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Neighbors of Eldon First Baptist Church or the Enloe Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospitals, nursing homes and home health care for their compassionate care during Linda's illness.
