LeeRoy A. Farmer

LeeRoy A. Farmer, 84, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at Rock Island Assisted Living Center in Eldon, Missouri.  He was born April 16, 1941 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late Raymond and Magdalene (Sanning) Farmer.  On August 28, 1959 in Henley, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mable I. (Bittle) Farmer who preceded him in death on February 21, 2019.

Survivors include,

Daughters, Rita Rippee (Randy) of California, MO; Therese Morris (David) of Henley, MO; Pamela Jones of Henley, MO; Vicki Humphreys (James) of Fuquay-Varina, NC

Twenty-one Grandchildren and Thirty-eight Great-Grandchildren

Siblings, Elaine Colvin (Gary), Noland Farmer, Anna Marie Block (Dutch), Danny Farmer (Diana)

Brothers-in-law, Curtis Bittle and David Bittle

Sisters-in-law, Francis Beam and Martha Suttie

Along with his parents and wife, two sons, Roderic and James Farmer, seven sisters-in-law, Mary Farmer, Josphine Bittle, Mary Kathleen Petet, Patricia Bittle, Barbara Sloan, Gladys Calfee and Queen Gaither, and brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Bittle, Bill Petet, Bill Sloan, Roy Calfee, George Gaither, Don Suttie, and Danny Beam preceded him in death.

LeeRoy was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary’s Home, MO and the Knights of Columbus.  He was employed with Von Hoffman Press for thirty-five plus years until his retirement.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a Rosary beginning at 4:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church with Rev. Simon Kanyike officiating.  Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic School or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
