Lee Weldon McCreery

Lee Weldon McCreery, 86 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at his residence in Eldon, Missouri.  He was born September 22, 1939 in Stoutsville, Missouri the son of the late Raymond and Beulah Lee (Long) McCreery.  On April 23, 1960 in Paris, Missouri he was united in marriage to Patsy Ruth (Castleman) McCreery who survives of the home.

Step-Great-Grandchildren, Ella, Brennan, Kylie, Bentley, Lincoln, Jude, Everett, Noah, Blair, Bennie, Wyatt, Meghan, Morgan, Mason, Logan, Jade, Reyna, Nollan and Rubi

Along with his parents, a son-in-law, Mark Banner, and other in-laws, Lesta Mae Pierce, Larry and Rumiko Castleman and Cathy Stewart preceded him in death.

Lee accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at the young age of 6 and a half at the Stoutsville Baptist Church and was currently a member of the Olean Baptist Church of Olean, MO.  Lee graduated from Monroe City High School in 1957.  He was self-employed selling insurance and also the in the timber industry.  He also worked at FASCO Industries and then the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1999 after 25 years of service.  Lee was lovingly known as a “Jack of all trades”.

Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Bill Foglesong officiating.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Stoutsville Baptist Church of Stoutsville, MO.
