Kenneth "Kenny" Lepper Obituary

Kenneth (Kenny) Lepper, 76, of Mary's Home, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his residence in Mary's Home, Missouri. He was born August 23, 1945, in Mary's Home, MO, the son of Leonard and Norma (Schulte) Lepper. On August 27, 1966, in Mary's Home, MO, he was united in marriage to Janet (Andres) Lepper who survives of the home.

His siblings: Allan Lepper and Terri Lepper all of Eldon, MO; Doris Schulte (Fred) of Barnett, MO; Becky Schulte (John) of Columbia, MO

Brothers- and Sisters-in-Law: Kathy Lepper of Eldon, MO; Raymond Kliethermes of Jefferson City, MO; Gene Andres (Cathy) of Portland, OR; Diane Spieker (Dave) of Jefferson City, MO; Gerry Andres (Glenda) of Brazito, MO; Richard Andres (Debra MacVittie) of Fulton, MO

Grandchildren: Chayse Phillips, Payton Phillips, step-granddaughter Zoee Phillips, twins - Nora and Jolie Lepper, Molly Lepper, twins - Lily and Asher Lepper

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his father- and mother-in- law, Gene and Donna Andres; his brother, Ralph Lepper and two sisters-in-law, Myrna Lepper and Betty Kliethermes.

 Kenny served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Sheet Metal #2 in Kansas City, MO, for 52 years. He worked in architectural sheet metal and took pride in having been twice awarded the American lnstitute of Architects, Allied Arts and Craftmanship Award by the Kansas City Chapter for his outstanding workmanship. He was proud of his many projects in the Kansas City area and throughout the United States, One of his jobs that is recognizable was his work at the Kansas City Royals Stadium, specifically the scoreboard. He was pictured with that job on the front page of the Kansas City Star.

Kenny loved to hunt. His favorite was pheasant hunting, which provided many stories long after he was no longer able to hunt. Throughout his life, he maintained a close relationship with hunting buddies, coworkers, and classmates from Helias Catholic High School, class of 1963.

He was very proud of his family and visits with all his children and grandchildren were cherished, loving the exuberance and antics of each. He enjoyed the many trips and vacations with his family.

Kenny was a member and attended Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO, along with the Knights of Columbus Council #3267.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Visitation will be at Our Lady of the Snows Church, Mary's Home starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 followed by a memorial Mass in Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM.
