John W. Stueve

John W. Stueve, 74 of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at his home. He was born December 5, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late William Henry and Edith Sadie (Vaughan) Stueve.

Survivors include,

Sister, Donna Stueve of St. Louis, MO

Stepdaughter, Kate (Jeff) Schamel of Tuscumbia, MO

Stepson, Joseph (Kim) Diaz of Edmonds, WA

Grandchildren, Shane (Amanda) Diaz, Charlie Hodur, Gavin Diaz, Natalie Henderson, Kelsie Henderson, Jimmy Schamel, Emmarie Henderson, and Joshua Schamel

Great Grandchildren, Emrys Diaz

He also survived by many cousins.

John was a proud member of the Iron Workers Union 396 for 50 years. He had a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He loved the beaches of Mexico, the color blue, living at the lake, and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. He will miss most spending time with his grandchildren, and great grandchild, and taking walks with his dog Milo.

John was a member of the North Shore Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, MO.

Memorials in his name may be made to Fresh Start Animal Outreach or North Shore Baptist Church.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m.; on August 1, 2026 at the North Shore Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, MO with Pastor Rich Starnes officiating.
