Eloise W. Martin, 90 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born December 21, 1933 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, the daughter of the late William Earl and Mary Laurel (Burris) Wood. On July 23, 1955 in Tuscumbia, Missouri she was united in marriage to her loving husband, John T. Martin, 90, who passed shortly after her on Monday, February 12, 2024 at his residence in Eldon, MO. Mr. Martin was born March 23, 1933 in Miller County, Missouri the son of the late William and Bessie (Upton) Martin.

Thirteen Grandchildren, Twenty-three Great Grandchildren
Eloise is also survived by Three Siblings
John T. Martin is also survived by Two Siblings.
Two Grandsons preceded them both in death. Mrs. Martin is also preceded by Twelve Siblings and Mr. Martin is preceded by Six Siblings.
They were both members of Union Missionary Baptist Church of Rocky Mount, MO. where Mr. Martin served as a Deacon. They both greatly loved and were deeply committed to their family and their faith. Mr. Martin also proudly served in the United States Army.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Brother Larry Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Union Missionary Cemetery in Rocky Mount, MO. with Full Military Honors presented for Mr. Martin.
